  The Federal Government has said that any telecoms subscriber who fails to submit his/her National Identity Number (NIN) to its network provider would be blocked from the network from December 31. This is just as the government reaffirmed its position on suspension of new SIM card registration across the country. This was part of the decisions reached at a stakeholders meeting convened by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami. This is contained in a statement signed and issued by the Director, Public Affairs of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr Ikechukwu Adinde. Nobel Laurette, Prof. Wole Soyinka, has described the year 2020 as the most challenging year as a result of the vicissitudes of problems. He added that Nigerian situation was worse as a result of the imperial nature of its leadership at the socio-political and religious levels.
