Kyari and his team members were said to have taken over Ezenwa's properties worth billions of naira. A lawyer attached to the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IGP-IRT), Nosa Uhumwangho, has explained how the embattled 'Super Cop', Abba Kyari, made him pay the proceed from a hotel owned by an alleged kidnap kingpin into his account.  Uhumwangho stated this while appearing before the Nigerian Bar Association Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (LPDC) on Wednesday.  The lawyer said Kyari told him to pay the sum of N3, 075, 300, which was generated from De-English hotel, Enugu and another property at 21, Edinburgh Street, owned by late Collins Ezenwa also known as E-Money, an alleged kidnapper, into his (Uhumwangho's) bank. The Borno government confirmed that at least 3,000 persons who were members of the armed opposition group have laid down their arms and surrendered to the Nigerian military. Community leaders in Borno State, on Sunday, agreed to the return of repentant' Boko Haram terrorists into their communities. Accordingly, the decision was taken at a stakeholders' meeting to discuss the prevailing security situation in the state. The meeting was organised by the government of Borno State. Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has named Major-General Farouk Yahaya as the new chief of army staff. Major General Yahaya, will replace the deceased Attahiru Ibrahim with immediate effect.
